The VA eBenefits portal, is a one-stop shop for benefits-related online tools and information. It serves Active Duty service members, members of the National Guard and Reserves, Wounded Warriors, Veterans, their families, and their caregivers.

It provides two main services:

  • A catalog of links to other sites that provide information about military and Veteran benefits; and
  • A personalized workspace called My eBenefits that provides quick access to eBenefits tools where you can complete various tasks such as applying for benefits, downloading your DD Form 214, and view your benefits status.

Registration for eBenefits should have been completed during your pre-separation counseling briefing. If not, you will have to do your DS Log-on and register for you eBenefits account.  This will have to be verified during your Capstone Appointment.

All military personnel and veterans with DoD CAC credentials can register quickly. Registration after military separation or retirement may require a visit to a VA service location for credential validation.
