A recent poll found that two-thirds of Americans would have difficulty coming up with the money to cover a $1,000 emergency. It found that these financial difficulties span all income levels.
It also found that despite an absence of savings, the same two-thirds said they feel positive about their finances. This is a sign that they’re basically living day to day.
