The civilian furloughs are upon us with the first furlough days taken beginning on the week of Monday, July 8, 2013.
While the Airman & Family Readiness Center is here to help the Ellsworth AFB Community, please keep in mind that we will be severely affected by the administrative furloughs. Our staff of 12 includes 9 civilians affected by the furlough. This will leave 2 military and 1 contractor (contract expires in August) in the office full time. Despite the furloughs, we will do everything we can to continue to perform our core mission.
At your Airman & Family Readiness Center, we have tried to schedule our furlough days to provide as much coverage in the office as possible. In order to do so, we have had to alter our office hours to be available for customers and clients. Starting the week of Monday, July 8 through Friday, September 20, 2013 our office hours will be the following:
Monday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Tuesday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Wednesday 9:00 AM – 4;00 PM (late opening to allow for staff meeting)
Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
